Access to Experts Program Participant Project Proposal

Please complete the following form if you are interested in participating in the Access to Experts program and receiving access to a subject matter expert to support a project for your business. This form will serve as a proposal to the Cannabis Business Office. After completing this form, the CBO Program Manager will contact you to set up a time to discuss the details of your project and your options to receive funding.

Every project proposal submitted requires your business to identify a project lead. The lead will be in charge of overseeing the project. The project lead must be an owner or executive of the business and must be the person completing this form.

Once the project proposal has been accepted, the project lead will have the option to either request a specific expert or choose an expert from the Program Participant Choice Directory provided by the CBO. It is the responsibility of the project lead and their business to conduct thorough and independent research to determine the qualification of the expert and whether that expert will provide appropriate services for the business. CBO makes no representation or warranty regarding the quality of services provided by any third party.

Please note that you do not need to be currently operational in order to utilize this service. However, you must qualify as a social equity licensee as defined in C.R.S. 44-10-103(68.5) and you must have completed the associated CannaBusiness Growth module before you may access the program. The CBO will confirm completion as no certificate of completion will be issued by the online program. (Ex. If you wish to receive access to a compliance expert, you must have completed the entire compliance module on CannaBusiness Growth)
